We believe good decisions come
from education and are proud to have attended seminars to
continue our education.
We have been
very fortunate to be able to attend three extremely
educational seminars hosted by "Alpacas LLC".
All of the seminars have been extremely well
thought out and combine both text book learning along with a
hands on experience. Our advice to anyone considering owning
alpacas, or even if you already do, is to "SEMINAR UP"
because good decisions come from education. We often discuss
the mistakes and set backs that could have been if not for
attending these seminars.
In 2004 Lee attended the 1st annual Purchase Promote &
Prosper in the Alpaca Industry featuring Mike Safley.
Then in 2005 we both attended their 2nd annual seminar which
featured both
Dr. Anthony Stachowski & Mary Reed.
In 2006 we both attended their 3rd annual seminar which
featured all of the following:

Dr. Anthony Stachowski
Mary Reed
Dr. Daniela Bedenice
In 2006 Nikki attended a fiber exclusive seminar which was
hosted by Maine Alpaca Association featuring Cameron Holt.
In July 2007 Nikki attend three seminars a fleece evaluation
seminar hosted by Sky View Alpacas featuring Cheryl Gehly.
In August 2007 Nikki attended a Camelid Dynamics seminar
hosted by Alpaca Perspectives featuring Marty McGee Bennett.
In November 2007 Nikki attended an alpaca reproduction
seminar hosted by Maine Alpaca Association Featuring Dr.
Ahmed Tibary.
